Vidzeme ar Franciju attīstīs sadarbību uzņēmējdarbībā
Marta sākumā Vidzemes plānošanas reģionā (VPR) viesojās Francijas Lejasreinas departamenta pārstāvji, lai pagarinātu abu pušu sadarbības līgumu. Kā viens no delegācijas pirmajiem apskates punktiem vizītes laikā bija "Valmiermuižas alus" darītava, kuras laikā tās saimnieks Aigars Ruņģis izrādīja savu uzņēmumu. Tikšanās reizē piedalījās arī Burtnieku novada pašvaldības domes priekšsēdētājs Jānis Leitis.
Pēc vairākām vizītēm vietējos uzņēmumos, kā arī oficiālo daļu Valmieras muzejā, VPR un Francijas pārstāvji vienojās turpmākajā sadarbībā lielāku uzmanību pievērst uzņēmējdarbības attīstībai. Francijas Lejasreinas departamenta viceprezidents Pjērs Bertrands izteica vēlmi attīstīt līdzšinējo reģionu sadarbību ekonomiskā virzienā: “Līdz šim abi reģioni vairāk attīstījuši kultūras un tūrisma projektus, kas, protams, arī ir nozīmīgi un veicina vispārējo ekonomiku, taču uzskatu, ka abos reģionos darbojas interesanti un profesionāli uzņēmēji, kas savā starpā varētu smelties pieredzi un, iespējams, veidot jaunas sadarbības formas,” tā Bertranda kungs. Jau pirmajās sarunās ar vietējiem uzņēmējiem Francijas pārstāvji izteica vēlmi palīdzēt atrast sadarbības partnerus Lejasreinas departamentā. Šāda veida starptautiskā sadarbība var veicināt ne tikai pieredzes apmaiņu, bet arī pavērt jaunus eksporta ceļus vietējiem Vidzemes uzņēmējiem.
Par godu veiksmīgajai sadarbībai VPR un Lejasreinas departamenta starpā, līguma parakstīšanu ar savu klātbūtni pagodināja arī Francijas vēstniece Latvijā Šantāla Puarē. Vēstnieces kundze uzsvēra abu valstu sadarbības nozīmi, piedāvājot savu atbalstu ne tikai reģionu sadarbības attīstībai, bet arī organizējot dažādus sagatavošanās pasākumus, lai Latvija pēc iespējas veiksmīgāk varētu startēt kā Eiropas Savienības prezidējošā valsts 2015.gada pirmajā pusē.
Septiņu gadu laikā Vidzemes plānošanas reģionā īstenoti vairāk nekā 30 projekti galvenokārt divos pamatvirzienos: starpinstitucionālā pieredzes apmaiņa (aizrobežu sadarbība, pārvalde, tūrisms un citi) un kultūras apmaiņa. Īpaši aktīva bijusi sadarbība tūrisma jomā, izstrādājot jaunas tūristu takas, un kultūras jomā saistībā ar mūzikas un folkloras grupu apmaiņu, vizuālās mākslas meistarklašu projektiem, mākslinieku rezidencēm un izstādēm.
