Februāra vidū norisinājās Centrālbaltijas INTERREG IV A programmas finansētā projekta “Senās Kulta Vietas - Baltijas Jūras Piekrastes Kopīgā Identitāte” (CULT IDENTITY) atklāšanas konference. Konferences laikā tika pārrunāti galvenie projekta mērķi un nozīme, kā arī izvērtētas dažādās izpratnes iespējas, kas saistītas ar kulta vietu identificēšanu un tūristu piesaisti tām. Sadarbojoties Latvijas plānošanas reģioniem, kā arī pārstāvjiem no Igaunijas un Zviedrijas, projekta laikā plānots aptvert un popularizēt senās kulta vietas kā veiksmīgus tūrisma objektus.

Senās kulta vietas ir svarīga kultūrvēsturiskā mantojuma sastāvdaļa, taču sabiedrībā ir izzudušas zināšanas par seno svētvietu atrašanās vietām, kā arī to nozīmi mūsu senču dzīvē. Tā kā lielākā daļa seno svētvietu ir dabas objekti, to apzināšana un ietveršana tūrisma produktos dotu stimulu šo objektu un apkārtējās vides sakārtošanai, kā arī mūsu kultūrmantojuma saglabāšanā (ticējumi, teikas, nostāsti, interesenti atgadījumi, tradīcijas u.c.), lai tie neizzustu vidē un cilvēku apziņā.

Apzinoties mūsdienu tendences un problēmjautājumus, kas saistīti ar seno kulta vietu/ svētvietu apzināšanu un popularizēšanu, Centrālbaltijas INTERREG IV A programmas projekta “CULT IDENTITY” mērķis ir veicināt tūrisma attīstību projekta aptvertajos reģionos, kā resursu izmantojot senās kulta vietas kā arī nemateriālo kultūras mantojumu, kas saistās ar šiem objektiem. Projekta ietvaros plānots ne vien apzināt senās kulta vietas un ar tām saistīto informāciju, bet arī izstrādāt to apsaimniekošanas modeli, izveidot pilotmaršrutus, kā arī nodrošināt produkta un reģionu atpazīstamību, veicot dažādus mārketinga pasākumus.

Lai precīzāk izprastu specifiku, kas saistīta ar kulta vietu apzināšanu un tūristu piesaisti, konferences dalībniekus uzrunāja eksperti - Latvijas Kultūras akadēmijas profesors, Latvijas Arheologu biedrības priekšsēdētājs, vēstures un mākslas zinātņu doktors Juris Urtāns, kā arī Vidzemes Universitātes lektors un pētnieks Andris Klepers. Abi eksperti akcentēja seno kulta vietu/ svētvietu apzināšanas nozīmīgumu, kā arī to novērtēšanu un veiksmīgu objektu pozicionēšanu

Konferences nobeigumā, iepazīstinot ar galvenajām projekta aktivitātēm un plānotajiem rezultātiem, projekta vadītāja Liesma Grīnberga uzsvēra ne tikai pamatmērķus, bet arī vienotu un atšķirīgu īpašību un tradīciju meklējumus starp projekta partneriem kā neatsveramu pievienoto vērtību projekta rezultātiem.
Sadarbojoties ar dažādiem jomas ekspertiem, Vidzemes plānošanas reģions projekta ietvaros plāno apzināt pēc iespējas vairāk senās kulta vietas Vidzemē, kā arī padarīt tās pieejamākas un saistošākas gan vidzemniekiem, gan arī reģiona viesiem. Vienlaicīgi tiek plānoti šo vietu aizsardzības un saglabāšanas pasākumi, akcentējot senā kultūrvēsturiskā mantojuma vērtību.

Projekta “CULT IDENTITY” vadošie partneri ir Rīgas plānošanas reģions, piesaistot Zemgales, Kurzemes un Vidzemes plānošanas reģionus. Kā ārvalstu partneri projektā piedalās Igaunijas nodibinājums “Hiite Maja” un Zviedrijas Gavleborgas novada muzejs.
