Notiks akcija "Grāmatai - otru mūžu!"

Burtnieku pagasta bibliotēkā no 23. līdz 29. aprīlim norisināsies  akcija „Grāmatai – otru mūžu!”. Akcijas ietvaros bibliotēkā būs atvērts grāmatu maiņas punkts. Uz grāmatu maiņas punktu aicinām atnest jau izlasītas un vairs nevajadzīgas grāmatas, to vietā atrast interesantas, noderīgas grāmatas. Šīs nedēļas laikā uz bibliotēku aicinām  atnest  arī tās  grāmatas, kas ir novecojušas  pēc satura vai nolietotas. Grāmatas aizvedīsim pārstrādei uz Līgatnes papīrfabriku .

23. aprīlis  jeb Svētā Jura diena ir arī  Pasaules grāmatu un autortiesību diena. Kataloniešu leģenda vēsta, ka Svētais Juris uzveica pūķi un izglāba princesi. Vietā, kur pūķa asinis nopilēja zemē, uzziedēja skaista roze. Šis varoņdarbs simbolizē gaismas, gudrības un mīlestības uzvaru pār tumsonību, tādēļ 23.aprīlī cilvēki visā pasaulē dāvina cits citam rozes un grāmatas, bet nedēļa  no  23. līdz 29.aprīlim tiek atzīmēta kā  bibliotēku nedēļa.
