Burtnieku novada pašvaldība izdevusi 2012. gada tūrisma bukletu, kurā apkopota informācija par tūrisma iespējām Burtnieku novadā.

Jaunais buklets atklāj, kāpēc apmeklēt Burtnieku novada pusi. Tiek izceltas tādas vērtības kā kultūrvēsturiskais mantojums, bagāti dabas objekti, plašās aktīvās atpūtas iespējas, piedāvājumi gardēžiem un ģimenēm. Īpaša uzmanība bukletā veltīta Burtnieku ezeram, kur var atrast informāciju par makšķerēšanas iespējām, licenču izmaksām, laivu bāzēm, labāko makšķerēšanas laiku Burtniekā, ka arī pagatavot Burtnieka zivju zupu pēc īpašas receptes.
